We Clean Lined Turkeys Nests
FCD’s Dredge Robotics technology is the only technology globally that can safely dredge lined assets back to bare liner without risking damage to the liner. The robots are custom designed with a liner safe drive system to allow them to safely operate on lined assets and have other in-built safety features to prevent the robots from bottoming out on the liner. Our unique dredging robots not only remove sediment, but can also remove weeds and root matter whilst lined assets remain online and in full service.
EnergyAustralia and Dredge Robotics Claim Safety Award
FCD were recently delighted to pick up yet another award to add to our already impressive collection of silverware. Working with valued client EnergyAustralia who manage the Mount Piper Power Station in regional New South Wales, Dredge Robotics was recognised as part of the annual Chairman’s Awards ceremony, which identifies employee achievements in relation to safety, customers and innovation. The award was won by EnergyAustralia under the “Rethinking Risk” category for utilising Dredge Robotics services to improve safety, by removing the need for human entry into the ponds, including eliminating the requirement for personnel to work on barges or floating equipment of any kind.
We Clean Process Tanks
Dredge Robotics technology continues to be extensively utilised across the mining industry to clean process water tanks outside of shutdown windows. Our globally unique robots can operate in high water flow environments and are equipped with sonar navigation systems allowing precise navigation and obstacle avoidance in extremely turbid water. The team have recently been busy in the Pilbara working for several iron ore majors. They have completed cleans of several large overflow tanks, removing nearly 2000m3 of compacted sediment from a 30.78m diameter tank, and over 3000m3 of sediment from a 41m diameter tank. This month the team are looking forward to a change of scenery as they move back into the goldfields to start some exciting projects with new clients. Our amazing technology eliminates all human entry and allows tanks to remain fully operational during cleaning.
